Putin says all game servers should be located in Russia in .ru zone

PERM, Oct 19 (PRIME) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that all game servers should be located in the .ru zone.

Umar Kremlyov, chairman of the executive committee of the Boxing Federation, suggested including Internet games into a unified regulator to block the .com zone and transfer software, the office and servers to the .ru zone.

“We should think about it, yes. We should do it. Not just think it over, but do it, we should put it into the unified regulator,” Putin said.
